What the board does

The Derbyshire Cricket Board is responsible for all aspects of the game throughout the county and has development plans in place to help raise the standards of the game over the next five years. These are in accordance with requirements set out by the england & Wales Cricket Board.

These plans target such areas as improving the facilities and coaching at grassroots level through to club cricket level.

The Derbyshire Association of Cricket Coaches became a part of Derbyshire Cricket Board in January 2002 and now takes the name of the Derbyshire Cricket Board Coaches Association.
